Qualifications

Overview

Job Description :

Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.

  1. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.
  2. Determine and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
  3. Works with Mfg engineers in conducting experiments. / NPI process setup / Prototype build, DOE, Evaluation run, Data collection. Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning Electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
  4. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
  5. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.
  6. Responsible for the set-up and operation of a wave solder machine all back and assembly process equipment listed. Adjusts the speed, temperature, and makes other adjustments to accommodate varying types and sizes as appropriate.
  7. Support Cepheid Module Prime build and Refurbishment start up.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in any related engineering field.
  • EMS background is an added advantage.
  • Preferable with 2-3 years of working experience in related field.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Self motivated nature and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
