Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Management Specialist to oversee production quality at their factory. The ideal candidate has experience in SMT or automotive electronics, strong problem-solving skills, and is proficient in English or Malay. This role focuses on enhancing product quality and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of work experience in SMT or automotive electronics.
• Proficient in at least one of the following languages: English or Malay; Knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality management and control throughout the factory’s production process.
• Establishes process quality monitoring systems and continuously improves product quality.
• Ensures customer satisfaction.

Skills

Knowledge of the five major quality tools, including APQP and PPAP

Experience using the 8D problem-solving method

Education

High school diploma or above, or a college degree

Establishes process quality monitoring systems, continuously improves product and process quality, and ensures customer satisfaction.

Reports to the Quality Manager.
