Job summary

ADVANCED ENERGY INDUSTRIES (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Process Engineer in Penang to oversee, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, lead CIP projects, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to boost yield and product quality.

You will handle both automated and manual equipment, maintain detailed process documentation, and ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental standards in a fast-paced lab and manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering.
• Familiar with ISO quality system.
• Familiar with 6Sigma, SPC, FMEA, lean manufacturing.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Lead CIP projects to improve efficiency and quality.
• Improve first pass yield and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians and staff.
• Prepare and monitor corrective actions for customer quality feedback.
• Maintain detailed process documentation.
