A manufacturing company in Penang is seeking a Process Engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years of industrial experience. Process Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical)

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.

Chargeman AO certificate or higher is an added advantage.

Proven hands‑on experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial mechanical, electrical, or electronic equipment.

Strong understanding of:

  • P&ID (Process & Instrumentation Diagrams)
  • Process instrumentation (sensors, valves, flowmeters, actuators)
  • PLC‑controlled systems and automation
  • HMI systems

Knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance, reliability practices, and TPM/RCM methodologies.

Education & Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.

  • F&B manufacturing experience is highly desirable due to hygiene, quality, and compliance requirements.

  • Familiar with ISO, HACCP, HALAL, and other industrial safety/quality standards.
  • Working knowledge of OSH practices, risk assessment, and LOTO procedures.
Technology & Tools
  • Proficient in:
    • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • CAD software for layouts/P&ID (e.g., AutoCAD)
