Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Engineer or Senior Engineer with a degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Manufacturing. The role involves preparing process layouts, reviewing customer drawings, and ensuring product quality while driving continuous process improvements. Qualifications

• Prepare process line layout flow and equipment resources.
• Review and study drawings from customers during RFQ stage.

• Responsible for continuous process improvement and Kaizen activities.

Job description

Minimum Diploma/Advance Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Manufacturing/ Metal Stamping/Tooling/Molding or any major.

Minimum 3 years and above working experience in manufacturing environment or similar for Engineer or Senior Engineer position.

Computer literate & able to work under minimum supervision is an added advantage.

AUTHORITIES

1. Prepare process line layout flow, equipment resources use and monitoring production line set up.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Review and study drawing from customer during RFQ stage.
2. Responsible window on Technical discussion with customer on NPI/FA stage.
3. Responsible for continuous process improvement & Kaizen activity within the company and customer.
4. Ensure product quality and process targeted quantity are met.
5. Follow-up on new parts, new process introduction / new parts transfer till successful completion of project.
6. Responsible to improve and maintain company's resource efficiency and utilization.
7. Training of manpower.
