Job summary

STMicroelectronics Malaysia is seeking a Process Development Engineer to set up, develop, and industrialize PLP LDI and dry film lamination processes. You will support new product introduction and process optimization to ensure quality, yield, and manufacturing readiness.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong data analysis, and experience in DMAIC and 8D methodologies. You will contribute to continuous improvement and robust process control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong statistical data analysis skills and data-driven decision making.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with 8D, DMAIC, Process Mapping experience.
• Ability to anticipate issues and drive cross-functional projects.
• Knowledge of production environments and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up PLP LDI and dry film lamination processes.
• Develop and industrialize PLP LDI and dry film lamination processes, including material introduction.
• Support assembly of engineering samples for new packages and technologies.
• Characterize PLP LDI and dry film lamination processes and related materials.
• Prepare, generate, and update process specifications, SOPs, FMEAs, and control plans.
• Provide technical support for quality concerns related to PLP materials and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
