Job description

Process Automation Specialist is responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining local automation solutions/applications to improve business processes. Collaborates with operational and technical teams to deliver projects on time, ensuring solutions are efficient, maintainable, and well-documented. Analyzes business processes, identifies improvement opportunities, and translates them into automated workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain automation applications and monitor the successful execution of automation products.
  • Develop and configure programs, scripts, and objects that are efficient, well-structured, maintainable, and easy to understand.
  • Work collaboratively with operational and technical teams to deliver projects by assigned deadlines.
  • Understand business processes from a Process Definition Document (PDD) and conceptualize them as automated solutions.
  • Integrate and deploy automation projects.
  • Analyze business processes, recommend improvements, and develop automation solutions around them.
  • Be a self-starter who delivers high-quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either independently or as part of a team.
  • Create and document test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for problem-solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error.
  • Blend business analysis with hands‑on configuration of automated processes.
  • Analyze, understand, and document infrastructure requirements.
  • Design automation process solutions in accordance with business processes in detail where required.
  • Configure new automation processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well-structured, maintainable, and easy to understand.
  • Create and maintain solution documentation.
  • Identify and communicate the technical infrastructure with standard automation design principles and conventions.
Qualifications
  • Around 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and expertise in Automation Technologies: Strong understanding and experience with VBA, .NET, Selenium, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL, Web Services, RPA, and more.
  • Knowledge in Project Management is preferred.
  • Preferably in the supply chain logistics industry.
  • Capable of conveying technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and producing clear, concise documentation.
  • Keen analytical and logical skills with a strong ability to solve complex issues using causal analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Experience with software development environments, debugging, workflow‑based logic, and creating workflow diagrams from business processes.
