Job description

Set up and operate machine equipment (converter, converting machine) following standard procedures and specifications.

Read and understand customer requirements for converting processes.

Mount plates and dies, install and align auxiliary equipment (punches, edge guides, etc.).

Inspect finished products for imperfections and ensure they meet quality standards.

Complete production and labor reports accurately and timely.

Perform daily housekeeping and 5S duties to maintain a clean and safe work area.

Participate in 5S and safety audits and implement corrective actions when required.

Requirements

Education:

TVET / Malaysia Skills Certificate (SKM) or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or Printing Technology, OR

Secondary school graduate with at least 2 years of experience in Flexo Printing, Slitting, Pouching, or Die Cutting operations.

Experience:

Technician: Basic understanding of machine operations and measurements.

Senior Technician: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience operating Pouch, Flexo Print, Slitting, Rewinder, Die Cutting, or Coating machines.

Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting, and planning skills.

Ability to coach or train junior operators (for Senior level).
