Principal Solution Architect (Telco, up to RM 34K)
The role reports to the Enterprise group and interfaces between the business teams and the internal/external technical partners to develop digital capabilities that are scalable, reliable, and integrated to enterprise systems, while ensuring right architecture, automation, cybersecurity and standards according to policies and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Analyse business requirement, evaluate feasibility, define and design solution to deliver digital products and platform architectures, aligned to existing systems and out-of-the-box functionalities.
- Provide technical leadership in digital and AI product design, including areas such as cloud platforms, data, automation, API integration, security, and proactively validate, challenge, and recommend solutions that best meet business objectives.
- Establish architecture blueprints, document detailed solution design, process/system flows, impact analysis and dependencies to guide from solution design to implementation, ensuring compliance and governance.
- Supervise end‑to‑end technical and performance test planning, preparation, defect resolutions and go‑live for Partners & enterprise integrations.
- Work with technical and support teams to implement strong DevSecOps processes, tools and mechanisms to achieve superior customer experience and operational excellence.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, recommending strategies to drive digital innovation, adoption and increase business value.
- Manage 3rd‑party partners and solution vendors in the digital services value chain from customer journey to configuration and platform provider‑specific enhancements.
Qualifications
- Experience in driving design and solutioning for partner and Digital/AI solutions.
- Experience in system process flow, SDLC, design + documentation, Agile‑Scrum, DevOps delivery methodologies.
- Experience in DevOps automation frameworks and scripting (e.g., Ruby, Scala, Python).
- High initiative, ability to multi‑task and a team player.
- Background in Telco and/or Digital/AI delivery.
- Knowledge of Digital/AI integration platform experience.
