Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day school operations and ensure smooth functioning across all departments.
  • Provide strategic leadership aligned with the school’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support the Principal and collaborate effectively within the group.
  • Ensure optimal academic performance and student achievement across the school.
  • Promote staff development, well-being, and professional growth.
  • Enhance the school’s reputation locally and regionally through community engagement and partnerships.
  • Monitor student enrolment and implement strategies to attract new families.
  • Liaise with local and international educational institutions and relevant government authorities (e.g., Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health).
  • Strengthen relationships with external organizations such as examination boards.
  • Foster parent involvement in school activities.
  • Collaborate with HR and senior leadership on recruitment, retention, and development of staff.
  • Ensure cost-effective resource deployment without compromising educational quality.
  • Maintain a positive and motivating work environment to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee induction programs for new staff and ensure compliance with health, safety, and SOP standards.
  • Review and implement school policies and prepare for accreditation and external examinations.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives across the school.
  • Organize and assist with group-wide activities and initiatives as requested.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by superiors related to daily responsibilities.
Education
  • Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field, with professional and/or teaching experience in an international school environment.
Experience
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in an educational setting.
  • Excellent command of English and Malay.
  • Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
