Job summary

Emerson Process Management Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced engineer to collaborate with NI staff and partners on semiconductor test engineering, hardware design, and fixture development. You will generate accurate requirements and drive statements of work.

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent in Electrical, Computer, or Electronics Engineering technology or higher.
• 10+ years proven experience in a System Design, Application Engineering, Technical Field Sales, or Test Engineering Design role.

• Generate requirements documents to finalize statements of work.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Working and interacting with a wide variety of NI staff and NI Alliance partners in semiconductor test engineering, test program structure, hardware design, and fixture design in support of customer solutions.
• Generating requirements document that can be to finalize statements of work
• Defining and implementing project plans, leading project achievements and holding reviews to ensure meeting requirements and ready for deployments.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• B.S or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering Technology or higher
• 10+ years of relevant proven experience in a System Design Role, Application Engineering, Technical Field Sales or a Test Engineering Design Role

RFIC or mixed-signal IC testing and validation

RF FEM, On-Wafer test, IPD, ADC/DAC, LED, MEMS sensor, PMIC &etc.

Software and system development, including test case development

Test platform software (SmarTest, IG-XL, etc)

Experience in common test engineering instruments: source measurement unit, digital pattern instrument, digitizer, etc.

• Demonstrated understanding of the following concepts and principles:

Sources of measurement error

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Appropriate selection of instrumentation and equipment layout

Integration of hardware and software

Electrical ground and shield concepts

Proficient in using software tools for PCB design and crafting schematics.

Statistical analysis of data (Cp, Cpk, GR&R)
