A leading educational institution in Malaysia is seeking an experienced educational leader to drive K-12 excellence. Responsibilities include developing and implementing curricula, overseeing school operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Education, a strong leadership background, and a proven track record in an international setting. This role is essential for fostering a positive learning environment and supporting both student and staff well-being.
To work with team members to drive the school to meet all its objectives set by the Management and the Board of Governors, and to deliver the highest quality of teaching, maintaining a vision of K-12 educational excellence.
To demonstrate exemplary pedagogical leadership so that teachers will continuously improve.
To develop and implement curriculum and conduct curriculum reviews, assessment reviews with data driven methodology, and teaching methodologies, including personalised learning methodologies.
To evaluate examination results and ensure the implementation of strategies to produce all rounded students with excellent IGCSE results.
To ensure school complies with all regulatory requirements from MOE and successful renewals of school licenses.
To oversee and monitor all school operations like staff recruitment and training, parents’ engagement and stakeholders networking and new students’ recruitment, ensuring targets are met.
To inculcate a positive good work culture that supports the wellbeing of both students and staff through continuous improvement programmes, mentoring of teachers, staff performance appraisals, and talent pool programmes.
A Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field is typically required.
At least 5-10 years in educational leadership position, preferably from an international school setting.
A proven track record of outstanding primary / secondary school leadership.
Experience and knowledgeable in teaching, student-learning methodologies, curriculum development and implementation, and assessment standards are usually necessary.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
Familiarity with international school accreditation processes and standards for the Cambridge IGCSE Level programme is an added advantage.
