Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Pricing Specialist to support our Procurement & Supply Chain function. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing supplier pricing, managing cost models, and generating insights that enhance sourcing decisions and drive cost efficiency. This role requires a blend of commercial acumen, data analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver strategic value through analytics, modelling, and insights development.

The Global Supplier Alliance (GSA) team is responsible for all procurement and supplier management activities across Direct and Indirect procurement. We secure products and services for ResMed businesses worldwide. The GSA team is globally distributed, and we prioritize staying connected and collaborating effectively. Let’s Talk About Responsibilities:
Supplier Performance Monitoring
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards and KPI metrics in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Monitor supplier performance and translate insights into actionable improvement plans.
  • Build business cases for value projects and lead stakeholder reviews to align on resourcing.
Pricing Analysis & Cost Modelling
  • Create and manage cost models for key raw materials, components, and services.
  • Analyze supplier quotes, cost breakdowns, and market pricing to validate competitiveness and identify negotiation opportunities.
  • Track and forecast cost trends, inflationary risks, and commodity indices affecting input pricing.
Strategic Sourcing Support
  • Collaborate with category managers and buyers to provide pricing intelligence during supplier selection and contract negotiations.
  • Support Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and should‑cost modelling for critical categories.
  • Evaluate supplier price changes and assess their impact on budgets and profitability.
Market Intelligence & Benchmarking
  • Conduct price benchmarking across suppliers, geographies, and industry standards.
  • Monitor global macroeconomic indicators and supply chain disruptions that may impact pricing.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date databases of historical pricing, tariffs, and freight costs.
Reporting & Business Insights
  • Deliver regular reports and dashboards to track price variances, savings performance, and cost drivers.
  • Partner with finance, operations, and planning teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and modelling to recommend optimisation opportunities across performance, risk, and value indicators.
  • Recommend pricing strategies and procurement levers to mitigate risk and optimise value.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are advantageous.
Experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in pricing, procurement analytics, or supply chain finance.
  • Experience in cost modelling, supplier analysis, or commodity tracking is preferred.
Technical & Professional Skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of procurement and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity in data and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
