Job description

Product Pricing Support throughout end-to-end product life cycle.

Operational Support for day-to-day business needs to various stakeholders.

Business Insight Analysis support.

Ongoing Process Improvement for better efficiency.

Ad Hoc Tasks as requested by supervisors.

Job Responsibility

• Ensure products profitability meets guided margin.
• Ensure products launched are in compliance with relevant BNM guideline / TMA requirement.
• Ensure timely delivery and competitive product pricing.
• Ensure sales illustration is being set up correctly including illustrated numbers, business rules control, terms and conditions, important notes etc.
• Ensure backend system is being set up correctly in terms of COI charges, premium rate etc.
• Perform impact assessment of various BNM guideline, framework, concept paper from time to time.
• To adhere to Pricing Policy at all times.
• Generate special quotation as per requested from time to time with appropriate reinsurer support.

Business Support

• Provide on-going support to other key stakeholders (e.g. operations, customer services, distribution channels etc.) to support day to day business processes and issues.
• Provide on-going support to distribution channels in assessing various business proposals to ensure it is financially and business sound.
• Provide pricing-related support in day to day operational issues.
• Perform business insight analysis from time to time to identify various improvement & business opportunities.
• Ensure high quality of work.

Process Improvement

• On-going improvement to the processes of current day to day tasks in order to increase efficiency, reduce TAT and increase quality of work.
• To provide pricing related support to other departments to improve efficiency of current business process as assigned by Supervisor/ HOD.
• Ensure high quality of work.

Others

• Any Special Projects (e.g. Product Engine etc) and Ad Hoc Tasks as assigned by supervisor/ HOD.
• Ensure high quality of work.

Job Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science.
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Open for fresh graduates for executive level.
• Sound actuarial knowledge, with pricing background and is actively pursuing professional papers.
