Overview
We are seeking a Presales Product Manager who bridges the gap between technical expertise and a customer-centric mindset. In this role, you will provide professional presales technical support and solution design for the EngageLab (SaaS product line).
Acting as both a technical consultant and product expert, you will gain deep insights into customers' business scenarios, design tailored solutions, and support the sales team throughout the entire process—from technical validation to commercial implementation. Your efforts will be pivotal in driving EngageLab’s business expansion across the APAC region and surrounding markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end technical support during the sales cycle, including requirement analysis, technical consultation, solution design, and product demonstrations.
- Design comprehensive technical solutions based on EngageLab’s product suite (Push Notifications, WhatsApp Business API, Email/SMS, Marketing Automation, etc.) to meet specific customer use cases.
- Prepare technical proposals, product presentation materials, and technical documentation for tenders (RFP/RFI).
- Product Demonstration & Customer Training: Conduct product demos and Proof of Concepts (PoC) to showcase the product’s value proposition and technical advantages.
- Organize technical training sessions and workshops to enhance product awareness and adoption among customers and partners.
- Collect and analyze customer requirements, market feedback, and competitive intelligence to provide actionable insights for product optimization.
- Assist in driving product localization, ensuring the product’s adaptability and competitiveness in the Indonesian and broader Southeast Asian markets.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales team to participate in key account visits, negotiations, and implementation support. Coordinate with Product, R&D, and Delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and support successful project handovers.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Work Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in the Software/IT industry, with a proven track record in presales support for enterprise software, cloud services, or MarTech related products. Prior experience in solution architecture or technical support for enterprise-level SaaS/Cloud services is highly preferred.
- Technical & Professional Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Objective-C, or Swift. Exceptional technical writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate product value clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp customer scenarios and propose viable solutions. Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken) is required to independently handle technical consultations, solution presentations, and documentation. Excellent communication skills and a strong team-player attitude.
- Preferred Qualifications (Pluses): Familiarity with Push Notifications, Marketing Automation, CRM, or CPaaS (Cloud Communications). Previous experience in technical support or presales within the Indonesian or Southeast Asian markets.
