Job summary

HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad seeks a Premier Relationship Officer to join the International Wealth and Premier Banking team in Malaysia. You will work with RMs to manage applications, respond to client requests, and help progress leads while servicing premier clients.

You will educate clients on digital banking, assist with account openings, and coordinate follow-ups to ensure timely delivery of services. Immediate right to work locally preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer engagement is essential for day-to-day interactions.
• Good planning and organizing skills for scheduling and follow-ups.
• Ability to arrange and manage customer appointments efficiently.
• Understanding RM/Private client processes and wealth products.
• Knowledge of wealth propositions and cross-selling potential.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales administrative tasks including submission and reviews.
• Prepare and sign sales documents for manager verification.
• Scan and file forms for reviews and follow-ups.
• Assist RM with customer emails, transaction requests and statements.
• Help handle customer complaints and follow-up tasks.
• Create appointments when RM is unavailable and generate leads for RMs.
• Monitor campaign calls and event triggers; ensure timely actions.
• Assist RM with file reviews and FCC-related follow-ups.
• Cross-sell and refer customer needs to PRM.
• Educate customers on digital banking and be the main contact point.

We are currently seeking ambitious individuals to join our International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) team in the role of Premier Relationship Officer, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

Responsibilities

• Daily Sales administrative task:


• Organize and complete/check all sales application forms for submission, scanning and for SQ review


• Check and Sign all the sales documents for line manager to verify and approve.


• Scan & file all completed sales application forms in the customer file for reviews, checks and follow ups


• Assist RM in replying customer’s mails, banking transaction request and other request from premier client E.g. Request for bank’s statement, fee waiver etc.


• Assist RM to handle / investigate customer complaints or other follow up task.


• Assist RM to create appointment upon customer’s request where RM not available.


• Help to identify customers that has not been contacted quarterly and create the leads for RM to follow up.


• To remind/monitor their respective RM to act on their campaign call list and "event triggers which was assigned by CVM"


• Assist RM on file review / CAMP / FCC call or monitoring when required for all FCC related item to ensure proper follow ups are completed.


• Cross sell


• Refer customer needs to PRM


• Educate customer on digital banking


• As customer’s main contact point beside their RM. Help to fulfil client’s service needs either by face to face or on the phone.


• Ensure proactive update of accurate customer information in the bank system.


• To temporary hold resigned RM portfolio and fulfill their service needs.
