A global investment firm in Johor Bahru is seeking a Business Manager for its Investment Services and Business Management Multi-Strategies team. The successful candidate will develop strategic business and operational solutions for private market investments while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Qualifications include over 6 years of relevant experience in investment operations, strong analytical skills, and a good degree in Business or Finance. This role offers dynamic collaboration across multiple GIC locations globally.

The Investment Services Private Market (ISPVM) Department provides strategic investment services and financial management for the Private Markets within the GIC group. Leveraging data and emerging technologies, the department oversees the development and implementation of business infrastructural plans and operating models to scale GIC's alternative asset investments globally. This covers deal structuring, due diligence and closing, financial operations across GIC's assets, as well as tax structuring, corporate holding structures, valuations, and financial reporting.
We are looking for a suitable candidate to join the Investment Services and Business Management Multi-Strategies team. The Business Manager will be responsible for developing the strategic business and operational solutions for the private markets Infrastructure and Integrated Strategies Group, while ensuring smooth running of the day-to-day operations including analytical, business and platform supports.
The successful candidate will support the department in delivering sustainable top quartile performance. Be the voice and go-to person for the business and the internal stakeholders, representing business needs. They are required to interact with people at all levels across the firm. He/She will also work closely with teams across 11 GIC locations, as well as counterparties and service providers across the globe.
