Job summary

NIL Technology in Bayan Lepas Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Production Specialist to operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring output targets and product quality.

You will follow SOPs, assist in inspections, support preventive and root cause activities, and maintain safety and teamwork on shift. The position requires basic English reading, willingness to work rotating shifts, and onsite cleanroom work.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM holder with relevant technical or Engineering field experience.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime when required.
• Willingness to wear a full jumpsuit and work onsite in a cleanroom.
• Willingness to use a microscope for detail and quality checks.
• Basic computer literacy (office software / machine software).
• Basic reading and understanding of English; able to follow technical instructions and read simple drawings or work orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate production tools, machines, or process stations to meet output and target.
• Follow approved SOPs and work instructions to ensure consistent product quality.
• Follow daily production plans to complete tasks, and monitor equipment, alarms, and processes during operation.
• Perform in-process checks, measurements, and inspections as required.
• Report equipment abnormalities to the Production Leader or Equipment Engineering teams.
• Support preventive and qualification activities as assigned.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions when required.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow safety rules, standard operating and handling procedures
• Good teamwork, discipline, and positive work attitude.
