Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a CNC Milling Technician in Penang to set up and operate multi-axis milling machines, read engineering drawings, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances. You will prepare tooling, fixtures, and offsets, adjust programs for accuracy, and work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to solve manufacturing challenges.

The role requires at least 3 years of CNC milling experience, familiarity with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in CNC milling.
• Experience in multi-axis machines is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of machine setup, tooling, and machining process.
• Able to read technical drawings.
• Familiar with measuring tools and quality inspection.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines.
• Read engineering drawings and machine parts according to specifications.
• Prepare tools, fixtures, materials, and set machine offsets.
• Adjust or edit CNC program when needed to improve accuracy.
• Make sure all parts meet required quality and tolerance.
• Check parts using measuring tools like caliper, micrometer, and gauges.
• Do basic troubleshooting and simple machine maintenance.
• Keep working area clean and follow safety rules.
• Work together with production, engineering, and quality team to solve problems.
• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor.
