Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Johor Bahru is seeking a candidate with a Diploma in Civil Engineering or related fields, who has at least 3 years of experience in the pre-cast industry. The role involves processing enquiries, generating shop drawings, and providing technical support. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is essential, while knowledge in 3D modeling tools like SKETCHUP, REVIT, or TEKLA is advantageous. The work location is on site in Johor Bahru.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of similar working experience in the pre-cast industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD & MS Office.
• Knowledge in 3D modeling preferably SKETCHUP, REVIT or TEKLA will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process new enquiries and generate shop drawings for awarded projects.
• Secure drawing approvals from clients.
• Perform technical support roles at the factory.
• Follow up on design variations from initial BQ vs actual shop drawings.

• 1. Responsible to process new enquiry.

• 3. Responsible to process new enquiries and process the awarded project for production.
• 4. Responsible for drawing approval from client.
• 5. Responsible to update and follow up on any product design, reinforcement and quantity variation from initial BQ vs actual shop drawing.
• 6. Responsible to perform technical support roles at factory.
• 7. Responsible to any ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of similar working experience in the pre-cast industry
• Proficient in AutoCAD & MS Office
• Knowledge in 3D modelling preferably SKETCHUP, REVIT or TEKLA will be an added advantage
• Good communication, interpersonal and interpretation skills
• Possess analytical competencies
• Positive attitude and able to work independently
