Job summary

A leading IT solutions provider in Malaysia is looking for an experienced professional for overall project development and IT pre-sales. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience, excellent presentation skills, and a background in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering. The role involves collaborating with teams, proposing solutions, and ensuring quality assurance throughout project implementations.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of working experience in IT technical pre‑sales.
  • Proven ability to lead solution's discussion and deliver compelling client presentations.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation, bid processes, and commercial evaluations.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and solution design capabilities.
  • Background in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for overall project development and business requirements.
  • Get involved with the project from inception to maintenance.
  • Establish strong partnerships with management and team members.
  • Propose solutions including products, services, and technologies.
  • Work closely with software developers to ensure proper implementation.
  • Provide the highest level of quality assurance for professional services.
  • Develop and oversee unit tests for quality solutions.
  • Translate client requirements into effective solutions.
  • Mentor team members on new technologies and solution offerings.
Job description

To be responsible for the overall project development and business requirements that underlies the projected solutions:

To get involved with a project at the time of inception, initial requirements, system requirement study, system design specification, development, testing, closing, operations and maintenance.

To share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to the management and the team members in clear, concise and understandable language.

To establish strong partnership with partners and principals to ensure continuity of project and business.

To propose solutions including products, services and technologies suitable for pre‑sales and project engagement.

To work closely with software developers and other team members to ensure proper project implementation.

To collaborate with all parties on core activities not limited to software developers, project managers and the management.

To be responsible for ensuring the developed applications meet the functional, performance, cost constrain and technical operational requirements as established by the design documentation.

To provide highest level of quality assurance for professional services within solutions area.

To be responsible for developing and/or overseeing the development and application of unit tests to ensure a quality solution.

To develop best practice, processes, solution and components that with incremental effort could be re‑used across current and future projects.

To translate client’s requirements and issues into effective solutions.

To research, analyse, recommend and implement new technologies and solutions.

To assist in presentation of business process and/or technical solution to clients.

To work with sales account managers to qualify opportunities.

To provide solutions support for Business Office through participation in proposals and tenders.

To monitor and ensure that customer satisfaction is consistently maintained and increased.

To provide timely reports to management on the progress of project being undertaken.

To mentor team members on the application of new technologies and solution offerings.

To provide education, training and technical support for functional areas of responsibility.

Perform any other related task/function/responsibility that may be assigned by the Management/Company from time to time.
