Job summary

ABeam Consulting (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Power Platform professional to design and implement automated business processes using Power Apps, Dataverse, and Power Automate. You will craft intuitive UI/UX, manage data modeling, and deliver dashboards with Power BI.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Engineering) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience implementing business process automation and workflow solutions.
• Expert proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) with strong UI/UX focus.
• Excellent proficiency in Power Automate and its connectors for cloud/on-premises systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Dataverse for data modeling, security, and automation.
• Experience with UiPath/Blue Prism is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy Power Apps solutions with emphasis on UI/UX and accessibility.
• Develop secure, scalable apps using Dataverse for data storage and logic.
• Design automated workflows via Power Automate and integrate with Microsoft 365/SharePoint.
• Implement RPA automations with UiPath or Blue Prism when needed.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into technical specs for forms and workflows.
• Build dashboards and reports, preferably with Power BI, to visualize KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and IT standards.
• Provide end-user training and post-implementation support.
• Troubleshoot and offer enhancements for existing apps.

About the Role:You will design, develop, and implement business process automation and workflow solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, with a primary focus on Power Apps (both Canvas and Model-Driven) and Power Automate. You will create intuitive, effective, and visually appealing applications, leveraging advanced UI/UX principles to optimize user experience, and manage data relationships with Microsoft Dataverse. Additional exposure to UiPath or Blue Prism is beneficial, but the main focus is Power Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy Power Apps solutions— with strong emphasis on UI/UX—to deliver applications that are clear, accessible, and drive high user adoption.
• Develop complex, secure, and scalable applications utilizing Dataverse for structured data storage, modeling, and business process logic.
• Design automated workflows and process integrations via Power Automate, supporting cross-platform connectivity (e.g., with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Dataverse, or third‑party systems). Where needed, build RPA automations using Blue Prism or UiPath.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders; translate business needs into technical specifications for digital forms, applications, and workflow automation.
• Conduct UI/UX testing, user feedback sessions, and iterative redesign to maximize usability and accessibility.
• Build dashboards and reports, preferably with Power BI, for visualization and KPI tracking.
• Ensure Power Platform solutions comply with data security, compliance, and IT governance standards.
• Provide documentation, end-user training, and post-implementation support.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and provide enhancement recommendations for new and existing apps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Engineering) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience implementing business process automation and workflow solutions.
• Expert proficiency in Power Apps:
  • Highly skilled in UI/UX: app layout, navigation, responsive design, branding, accessibility, and user-centric functionality.
  • Ability to develop both Canvas and Model-Driven apps.
• Excellent proficiency in Power Automate:
  • creating robust workflows, leveraging connectors, integrating with cloud or on-premises systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Dataverse:
  • data modeling, relationships, security roles, and process automation using business rules or flows.
• Experience—preferred but not required—with UiPath, Blue Prism, or other RPA tools.
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365 apps, Azure services, and API/data integration.
• Effective communication, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management skills.
• Microsoft Power Platform certification (PL-100, PL-200, or related) advantageous.
• Located in Malaysiaand able to work onsite. Offsite dependent on client's requirements.
