Job summary

Fleming Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated DCS Engineer / Executive to join our engineering team in Malaysia. You will support engineering, commissioning and project execution for DCS projects, primarily in power plant automation and electrical systems.

The role involves developing and testing DCS software, coordinating with customers and vendors, performing FAT/SAT and site commissioning, and providing post-handover support. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA or industrial automation is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with 2-3 years of relevant experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Engineering Manager and support execution of DCS and automation projects.
• Prepare engineering documents including I/O lists, control philosophies, functional design specifications and system architecture.
• Develop, configure and test DCS software, HMI graphics, alarms and control logic.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and internal teams throughout project execution.
• Perform factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), commissioning and start-up activities.
• Support troubleshooting, maintenance and modification of existing DCS and electrical control systems.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and project documentation.
• Ensure projects comply with quality, safety and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support during project handover and after-sales service when required.
• Travel to customer sites when required.
