Panduit Singapore Pte Ltd in Johor Bahru seeks a Principal-Sr Principal Hardware Design Engineer – Power Electronics Lead to drive PoC projects and lead power electronics, analog/digital hardware, and embedded systems development.

This hands-on role collaborates with the U.S. R&D team, mentors engineers, leads schematic reviews, and establishes disciplined lab practices to deliver robust multi-kW hardware for critical applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 12+ years in electrical hardware development with power electronics.
• Experience with multi-kilowatt AC/DC or DC/DC power conversion.
• Lead complex prototype hardware from detailed design through bring-up.
• Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and embedded hardware.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical execution for PoC projects in Johor Bahru.
• Translate architecture, requirements, risks into implementation plans and tasks.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across hardware domains.
• Lead schematic and PCB design reviews and prototype bring-up.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with U.S. R&D.
