Qualifications

Job description

Genic Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd – Dengkil, Selangor

Perform plastic welding operations on the production floor under supervision.

Operate and maintain plastic welding machines and equipment (e.g., hot air gun, ultrasonic, extrusion, butt welding).

Follow engineering drawings, technical documents, and work instructions to complete assigned tasks.

Ensure welding work meets company quality standards and specifications.

Assist in setup, preparation, and monitoring of welding processes.

Report any equipment issues or production problems to supervisors promptly.

Maintain proper documentation of work performed and adhere to company SOPs and safety standards.

Support continuous improvement activities in the production line.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in plastic welding or related manufacturing environment (fresh graduates with technical training may be considered).

Basic knowledge of plastic welding methods (hot air gun, ultrasonic, extrusion, or butt welding).

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documents.

Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior staff and supervisors.

Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality.

Team player with good communication skills.

Ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage for communication with colleagues in China.

Familiarity with ISO or other manufacturing quality standards is a plus.

Able to start work with short notice period.
