About the Role

Kawan Renergy Berhad are looking for a passionate and innovative Process & Plant Design Engineer to join our growing team. You will be involved in designing, improving, and supporting plant processes, with opportunities to learn from experienced managers while contributing your own ideas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop plant layouts, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Conduct feasibility studies, process simulations, and optimization of existing systems
  • Ensure designs comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical and project engineers
  • Support project execution by preparing technical documentation, reports, and cost estimations
  • Assist in commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation of plant processes
  • Stay updated with the latest industry practices, codes, and standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical/Process/Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in process/plant design (fresh graduates with strong internship experience are encouraged to apply)
  • Knowledge of engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, HTRI, PV Elite or similar)
