Job summary

A leading food manufacturer is seeking a Plant Engineer to analyze data, prepare budgets, and ensure the successful execution of engineering works. Candidates should hold a degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering and have 1-3 years of experience in the food or FMCG industry. Proficiency in English and BM is required. This is an on-site position located in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in the food industry and/or FMCG business.
• Understanding of food processing plants and/or FMCG manufacturing.
• Ability to conduct feasibility analysis for projects.

Job description

Interpreting gathered data and submitting analytical reports to relevant department heads and management.

Finding patterns and trends in analyzed data, highlighting opportunities and solutions for productivity improvement and best-in-class standards.

Derive engineering plans for execution and facilitation. Describe the work to be executed, establish the scope of work, and check for specifications.

Conduct feasibility analysis for proposed projects.

Prepare budgets where required adhering to cost and time control procedures.

To analyze internal or external resources, making recommendations to assure that F&B Nutrition Sdn Bhd may be equipped with operational hard and soft skills to manufacture food products in a food safe, efficient and cost-effective way.

Analyse project data to identify insights into productivity solutions.

Successful completion of engineering works to specification, budget and timeline as assigned by the Senior Engineering Manager.

Are you the one?

Bachelors Degree or higher in Mechanical or Process Engineering.

At least 1-3 years of experience in the food industry and/or FMCG business.

Proficient in English and BM.

Good understanding of engineering disciplines in food processing plants and/or FMCG manufacturing businesses.

Innovative and critical thinking along with data analysis and problem-solving skills.

We are an established dairy product manufacturer located at Telok Panglima Garang, Kuala Langat, Selangor. We established in 1991 as a packaging agent for foodstuff, F&B Nutrition Sdn Bhd. fully transformed itself in 2004 and is now one of the largest OEM manufacturer of sweetened creamer and evaporated creamer in Malaysia. We have seen tremendous growth in the demand for vegetable oil-based creamers, both locally and in the overseas market. In view of this, we are currently expanding our factory by having additional production lines which are able to manufacture all 4 can sizes – 170gram, 390gram, 505 gram and 1kg packaging simultaneously. Our expansion has also seen the introduction of our newly launched Evaporated Creamer line which is already operating at full capacity.
