Job Summary

The position is responsible for overall finance at plant level, coaching and developing finance team and support Plant General Manager to achieve various business goals and sustainable growth, in the meanwhile comply with local regulations and company policies and procedures.

The candidate will engage with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance, ensure accurate reporting, and support strategic decision-making.

Main Responsibilities
A. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.
  • Consolidate and upload financial plans into reporting systems.
  • Partner with operations to manage risks and opportunities.
  • Improve forecast accuracy and support KPI achievement.
B. Accounting & Reporting
  • Lead and oversee month-end closing and consolidation process, ensure actual reports uploaded into reporting system in accurate and timely manner.
  • Review and ensure statutory accounting reports and management reporting are accurate and reconciled.
  • Review and ensure Balance Sheet reconciliations and analysis are prepared monthly, all open items / aged items are monitored and actioned in time, keep BS clean. In the meanwhile, financial exposures are identified, assessed and timely booked and mitigated.
C. Inventory Control and Costing
  • Scrutinize inventory aging, facilitate to minimize inventory excess and obsolete.
  • Support inventory physical count, fix the root cause of count variance.
  • Ensure accurate BOM, routing and standard cost maintained in system from time to time.
  • Ensure cost variances are reviewed, and remedy actions are taken in time manner.
  • Drive continuous improvement on cost reduction for both above gross margin and below gross margin.
D. Commercial
  • Review quotation cost and price, Capex investment and return on investment analysis, ensure new project margin and commercial terms in line with business target.
  • Review key project execution, analyze deviation from target P&L and ROI, calibrate quotation costing assumption, drive remedy actions to achieve project targets.
E. Working Capital Optimization
  • Review and approve payables.
  • Ensure credit control in place, drive the settlement on AR delinquency.
  • Drive initiatives to improve cash conversion cycle including DSO, DIO and DPO.
F. Internal Controls & Compliance
  • Ensure financial transactions are in line with corporate finance policy and ensure adherence to corporate ethic policies and internal controls.
  • Support periodic internal audits and assist in external audits.
G. Tax Compliance
  • Ensure tax declarations comply with local tax regulations, tax risks are highlighted and mitigated in timely manner.
  • Ensure to meet requirements for all tax incentive schemes.
H. Coach and develop finance team

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, CPA/ACCA/CMA or member of any professional accounting body is a plus.
  • 10+ years hands on finance experience (incl. at least 3 years in finance manager position) in MNC or large enterprises preferably in mechanical, electrical and/or communications industry, handled overall finance scope, with solid FP&A, Costing and Commercial finance experiences.
  • Be proficient in SAP ERP.
  • Familiar with local GAAP, tax regulation and IFRS GAAP.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Strong excel, PPT skill.
  • Good business sense, effective communication, result driven and engaged leadership.
  • Commitment to excellence, solution oriented and good problem-solving skills.
  • Self‑motivated team player with ability to lead a team and drive changes.
