Job summary

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Piping Works Specialist to oversee piping fabrication and erection activities within an oil and gas project environment. The role ensures that all works are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with project drawings, specifications, and international standards.

This is a 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension upon completion of each cycle, subject to project pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all piping works to ensure technical integrity and compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Monitor construction progress against schedule and budget; propose corrective actions where necessary.
• Verify material certification and ensure conformity with project requirements.
• Validate constructed quantities and support progress reporting.
• Witness construction and pre-commissioning tests, including flushing, testing, and reinstatement.
• Endorse quality check sheets in line with the project Quality Control Plan.
• Support troubleshooting and provide on-site technical guidance.
• Identify and clear punch list items prior to mechanical completion.

Requirements

• Experience: 08 - 10 years in the Oil & Gas or Shipbuilding industry, including at least 5 years in a supervisory construction role.
• Strong knowledge of applicable piping standards, plant construction, and commissioning.
• Basic understanding of oil and gas treatment process schemes.
• Familiarity with QA/QC Construction Management Systems.
• Basic knowledge of Construction and Commissioning HSE requirements and standards.
