Job summary

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, compulsory CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification, and at least 3 years in pipeline/piping inspection within oil and gas.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification is compulsory.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pipeline/piping inspection in oil & gas industry.
• Familiar with ASME, API, and AWS codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding inspections and ensure compliance with WPS, PQR, and relevant codes (ASME, API, etc.).
• Review material certificates, inspection reports, and test results.
• Monitor fabrication, installation, and testing activities to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Coordinate with client, subcontractors, and site teams on QA/QC matters.
• Prepare and maintain inspection records, NCRs, and related documentation.
