Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
• Current and valid physiotherapy registration or licence as required by Malaysian regulatory bodies
• Fresh grads are welcome
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and rehabilitation principles
• Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans
• Experience with a range of physiotherapy modalities and therapeutic techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organisational and time management skills to manage multiple patients effectively
• Commitment to professional development and maintaining current clinical knowledge

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical examinations, medical history reviews and functional evaluations to identify physiotherapy needs
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions
• Provide direct patient care including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy and other modalities appropriate to patient conditions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate patients on self-management strategies, home exercise programmes and injury prevention techniques
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including doctors, nurses and other allied health professionals
• Participate in case discussions and clinical meetings to ensure coordinated patient care
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe, hygienic treatment environment
