The new role

As a developer specializing in PHP, you will play an integral role in the design, estimate, and code new features, not limited to, architect new applications and expand existing ones in collaboration on enterprise architecture with other teams at the company. In addition to this project, you will participate in software design discussions, sprint planning and other project management meetings to ensure all code that goes to production is of top quality as well as existing applications are scaled to meet expected demand. You are required to identify and fix gaps in system reliability, such as production monitoring and continuously improve the software infrastructure, such as the deployment process.

Requirements to succeed

You should hold a degree in related field, with a minimum of 2-3 years’ work experience acquired in object-oriented programming in PHP and front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS3. Experience with modern server components or MVC frameworks are added advantages. You are expected to work in a collaborative team environment using tools like JIRA and Git effectively. Ideally, you should be a good team player with good communication skills and etiquette, proactive, willing to take extreme challenges.
