Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Key Account Manager to lead the Pharmacy Channel for a market-leading personal care brand. Based at the Setia Alam corporate office, the role reports to the Pharmacy Channel Lead and requires strategic account ownership for Watsons and major chains.

Responsibilities include joint business planning, negotiating promotions and listings, managing trade spend, and ensuring accurate demand forecasts to avoid stockouts across store networks.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of FMCG key account management experience.
• Direct channel experience with pharmacy chains is desirable.
• Willingness to travel outstation as required.
• Proactive and data-driven approach to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Account Ownership: primary lead for assigned pharmacy chains, including Watsons and regional networks.
• Joint Business Planning: develop and track annual, quarterly and monthly plans to meet sales and margin targets.
• Commercial Negotiations: lead promotions, new listings, shelf space, displays and terms.
• Profitability & Trade Spend Management: monitor profitability, rebates, costs and trade spends with Finance.
• Demand Forecasting & Alignment: prepare sell-in/sell-out forecasts to maintain stock cover and reduce out-of-stocks.
