Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists in dispensing medicines and assisting customers. The role involves stock management, customer guidance, and daily shop floor operations in a fast-paced environment.

You'll work closely with the pharmacy team, handle transactions, and help maintain a clean and organized store. Prior pharmacy experience is helpful, and shift work is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Diploma in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience working in a pharmacy/clinic is an added advantage.
• Able to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
• Friendly, responsible, and proactive in assisting customers and carrying out daily tasks.
• Willing to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in the dispensing of medicines according to prescriptions and provide basic information to customers.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving stock, checking expiry dates, arranging products, and ensuring sufficient stock levels.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in selecting suitable healthcare products.
• Actively promote pharmacy products by providing accurate and professional information to customers.
• Provide information on supplements and healthcare products to customers based on their needs.
• Build good relationships with customers and ensure a friendly and quality shopping experience.
• Support daily pharmacy operations, including handling the payment system and assisting with administrative tasks.
• Work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure quality services and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness within the pharmacy to create a safe and comfortable working environment.
