VV Pharmacy is a newly established pharmacy committed to delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality pharmaceutical services. We are currently building our operational foundation and are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team and play a key role in setting up and structuring pharmacy operations.

What you’ll be doing

• Set up and establish daily pharmacy operations in compliance with regulatory and professional standards
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for pharmacy operations
• Manage procurement activities including supplier sourcing, purchasing, pricing, and inventory planning
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and stock control of medicines and healthcare products
• Oversee inventory management, including stock ordering, expiry monitoring, and stock audits
• Ensure compliance with local pharmacy laws, regulations, and licensing requirements
• Provide professional pharmaceutical advice and support when required
• Coordinate with management on workflow planning, staffing needs, and operational improvements
• Support the pharmacy’s readiness for inspections and audits

What we’re looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a relevant field
• A valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in Malaysia
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a community pharmacy setting
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, drug interactions, and medication management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to ensure the safe and appropriate use of medications
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care and upholding the highest ethical standards

Additional experience

• Experience in setting up or managing a new pharmacy
• Experience dealing with wholesalers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities
• Leadership or supervisory experience is an added advantage
