Job summary

Pet Lovers Centre seeks an Assistant Animal Care Consultant at IOI City Mall, Selangor, to assist customers with pet-related queries and support daily store operations. You will drive sales, handle cashiering, promote PLC memberships, and ensure stock is well displayed.

The ideal candidate holds a related diploma, is mature and patient, and can work weekends/public holidays. Sign-on bonus up to RM700 for 6 months, plus comprehensive training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess a diploma in Animal Science, Animal Health, Zoology, Veterinary, Aquatics, Biology, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with pet-related queries and other Retail Operations tasks.
• Support daily store operations to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Handle cashiering duties and balance cash registers during transactions.
• Promote products or PLC membership sign-ups/renewals based on customers’ needs.
• Replenish stock and assist with stock counts.
• Maintain clean and safe environment for staff, customers and pets.
• Follow SOPs, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
