Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Personal Financial Consultant role based in Batu Pahat. The Personal Financial Consultant will engage with customers to understand their financial goals and recommend suitable banking, investment, and protection solutions. Daily tasks include conducting needs-based financial assessments, presenting product options, and assisting customers with account opening, loan applications, and investment placements. The role involves proactive sales activities such as prospecting, follow-ups, and relationship management to build and maintain a portfolio of clients. The consultant will also ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, prepare documentation accurately, and participate in branch campaigns, training, and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Strong Financial Planning and Finance skills to assess customer needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Knowledge of Financial Services and banking products, including consumer and investment offerings.
• Consulting abilities to provide clear, needs-based financial advice and build long-term client relationships.
• Sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing, with a focus on meeting branch and personal targets.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms.
• Relevant academic background in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field is preferred.
