Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day driving for the Managing Director to and from the office, appointments, and meetings, etc.
- Ensure timely pick up from residence to office and other locations at the time requested by Managing Director.
- Responsible for the safety of the MD and other passengers in the vehicle.
- Comply with all road and traffic rules, and follow all safety rules.
- Punctual, reliable and possess good time management.
- Ready to work overtime and outstation.
- Maintain and handle the assigned motor vehicle with great care including arranging regular maintenance and service, and ensuring cleanliness of the vehicle inside and outside.
- Carry out daily checks of oil, fuel, water, car wash, etc.
- Work closely with admin to schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues.
- Map out driving routes ahead of time to plan the most efficient trip and avoid delays reaching destination.
- Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up to date on road conditions and adjust routes as needed to avoid heavy traffic or road construction.
- Ensure vehicles are parked safely and free from traffic summons.
- Responsible for collecting and delivering company documents/goods to all assigned areas.
- Attend ad-hoc administrative tasks assigned by the HR department.
- Collecting and delivering documents, parcels, and other items as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Malaysian driver’s licence.
- Punctual and reliable with good time management.
- Willing to work overtime and outstation when required.
- Ability to drive safely and follow road rules and safety guidelines.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; other languages are an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and demonstrate a drive for success.
