Job summary

A leading media company based in Malaysia seeks an experienced Personal Assistant to support the Director. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of extensive experience, and proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia. Qualifications

You will play an important role in: Reporting to the Director and to a lesser extent of 3 executives for the Asia region, you will be required to perform at your peak on a daily basis. In this role, you will be assigned to the Director as his 1:1 right-hand support. A true professional that is looking to once again commit to a long term business relationship with the Executives is what we require, with the flexibility and adaptability to extend your support when required.

Duties will include complex diary management, you will constantly be asked to ‘squeeze things in’ and make the impossible happen, international and local travel coordination across multiple time zones, attending meetings, organizing company and client events, high-level administrative support, fielding important calls and acting as a point of contact, building trusting relationships with key stakeholders connected to the Director both internally and externally to the organization. We're looking for someone with creative flare and commercially savvy skills. You'll use these skills to help make presentations engaging and exciting for stakeholders and bring the team together through various media etc.

The Director requires a confident and assertive personality, who is also warm and engaging, able to connect with and build strong relationships alongside colleagues and clients. We're looking for someone with a real positive attitude, who views as the situation with a 'glass half full' approach and is able to just get stuff done!

Our perfect candidate is able to demonstrate excellent longevity working in an PA/EA role. They will also be able to confidently communicate their capabilities working in a role that requires absolute loyalty and dedication to achieving results, not to mention exceptionally strong administrative skills. They will have to be proactive in their approach with the ability to work in tight deadlines and use their initiative to pre-empt senior leaders' commitments, priorities, and deliverables.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Previous extensive experience in a similar role at a senior level Min 5 Years.

Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner with a variety of staff at all levels

Must Possess a driving license and be able to travel if needed.

Must be able to travel Oversea without any restriction.

Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia both verbal and written. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

You will need a good eye for detail, coupled with quality communication ability.

Must be flexible in working hours and able to work beyond office hours.

You absolutely must be experienced in using Microsoft Excel and Good skills with the rest of the MS Office suite will also be important.

You must be discreet and have respect for the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive material.

Initiative – self directs and able to work with minimal oversight whilst engaging senior executives on key issues.

Highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously.

Provide administrative support to the Director and across different functions.

Ability to positively and quickly respond to changing business circumstances and work priorities; with emotional resilience and the ability to manage difficult situations.

Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and demonstrates a passion for getting things right.

Maintains performance and self-control under pressure or adversity.
