Job summary

United Parcel Service (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia seeks a permanent driver to deliver and pick up packages from residential and commercial properties. You will operate in a fast-paced environment, perform required pre- and post-trip checks, and ensure safe transport methods while providing excellent customer service.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 32 kg, a valid D/E and GDL license, and basic English reading/writing skills.

Qualifications

Minimum SPM
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs
Complies with UPS appearance guidelines
Excellent customer contact and driving skills
Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle
Have Valid D/E and GDL Driving License
Experience in Logistic industry will be an added advantage
Able to Read and Write in Basic English

Responsibilities

Delivers and picks up packages to and from residential and/or commercial properties.
Learns and properly executes UPS safe driving methods.
Scan inbound packages.
Pre trip on the vehicle.
Ensure supplies, manual waybill, invoice pouches are adequate.
Close POD for the delivered package.
Update exception for the send again packages and return to warehouse same day.
COD money Collect from the customer and handover customer copy of slip.
Perform ISAT on the packages upon pick up.
Post trip conducted and inform Management for any discrepancy.
