SafeTruck is offering an internship in Bayan Lepas, Penang for IT students and recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in backend and frontend development, API integration, and system optimization on real projects.

You’ll work with experienced engineers and AI specialists in a startup atmosphere, receiving mentorship and practical training while contributing to impactful solutions. High performers may be considered for full-time roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• Students or recent graduates in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Project experience (academic, coursework, or personal projects) in Full-Stack PHP development (Laravel or similar frameworks).
• Basic knowledge of MySQL, MSSQL, or MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Develop & Debug – Work on real-world projects, coding and debugging web applications and backend services.
• Collaborate & Learn – Team up with senior developers and AI engineers to solve challenges and build innovative solutions.
• Software Integration – Help integrate different databases, APIs, and backend services.
• Optimize & Improve – Contribute to improving business logic and system performance.
• Technical Documentation – Write clear and structured code, flowcharts, and documentation to support development efforts
