We’re Hiring: Payroll Officer

Location: Johor, Malaysia

Department: Human Resources – Compensation & Benefits

Reporting To: Senior C&B Executive > HR Manager

Are you detail-oriented, passionate about accuracy and ready to make an impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Join Intretech Malaysia, a leading global smart manufacturing company, as a Payroll Officer and play a key role in ensuring smooth payroll operations for our 2,000+ employees.

What You’ll Do
  • Process and verify monthly payroll with precision and timeliness.
  • Manage time and attendance system.
  • Manage statutory compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRDF) and ensure adherence to Malaysian labour laws.
  • Maintain accurate payroll data, including new hires, transfers, resignations and adjustments.
  • Support employees with payroll queries, payslips and EA forms.
  • Assist with audits and continuously look for ways to improve payroll processes.
What We’re Looking For
  • Diploma/Degree in HR, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
  • 1–2 years of payroll experience, preferably in a high-volume EMS manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory contributions and labour laws.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (Upayroll, BCA or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to commit during payroll cut-off and audit periods.
