Responsible for managing payroll services on behalf of clients. This includes processing payroll, calculating taxes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial records. You have to collaborate with clients to understand their payroll needs, address inquiries, and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing. Additionally, the Payroll Executives may handle related tasks such as benefits administration, timekeeping, and staying updated on relevant tax laws and regulations. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in payroll software are key attributes for this role.
Work closely with clients to understand their payroll needs, gather necessary information, and establish effective communication channels.
Execute end‑to‑end payroll processes, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate calculation and submission of payroll taxes. Collaborate with tax authorities and address any related issues.
Maintain accurate and organized payroll records, including employee information, tax forms, and other relevant documentation.
Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, errors, or issues promptly. Investigate and correct any anomalies in payroll processing.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of payroll data. Implement measures to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access.
Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations related to payroll and employee compensation.
Maintain clear and transparent communication with clients, updating them on payroll processing, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll operations.
Stay current with advancements in payroll technology and industry trends, adapting strategies and processes accordingly.
Demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills to address complex payroll issues, troubleshooting system‑related problems, and implementing effective solutions.
Prepare and assist in audits related to payroll processes, ensuring that all documentation and procedures comply with audit requirements.
Candidate must be at least a Diploma/Degree in Human Resource/Accounting or any experiences equivalent.
Diploma/Degree in IT is a plus.
Experience in processing end‑to‑end Singapore payroll will be an advantage.
Passionate in client servicing and Individual should enjoy continual learning and often excited over new technologies.
Knowledge of HCM or Payroll software a plus.
Experience working in an outsourcing environment or have managed large‑in‑house/outsourced payroll headcount will be an advantage.
A good working knowledge and understanding on the whole payroll processing cycle including filing of government claims and tax submission.
Proficiency in MS Office with strong MS Excel skills Excellent.
Ability to speak and write in fluent English.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal and ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
Team attitude and ability to work with a variety of skillsets and autonomously.
Detail‑oriented, organized with solid time‑management experience and able to work under time pressure.
