Job description

Join the team at Pro Payroll Sdn. Bhd. as a full-time Payroll Executive/Payroll Specialist based in Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for providing accurate and efficient payroll processing and support to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: End-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings for multiple clients.
• Process employee changes such as new hires and terminations, including the filing of the necessary tax forms for new hires and leavers as per regulatory requirements.
• Timely and accurate execution of net salary and statutory/ non-statutory contribution payments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Malaysian labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Generate accurate and timely payroll reports and reconciliations.
• Annual year-end tax reporting: generate tax forms for client’s employees and provide resolution to any related queries.

Team Training and Development

• Train and guide team members on payroll processes, systems, and compliance requirements.
• Share best practices and knowledge to enhance skills and knowledge and improve overall team performance.

Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain good professional relationships with clients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in an outsourced environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll compliance requirements.
• Proficient in payroll software and systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and functions for data analysis, calculations, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
