Johnny's Restaurants owned by Dynasun Sdn Bhd have 36 Outlets throughout Malaysia while Black Canyon Restaurants (a Franchise from Thailand), owned by B-Canyon (M) Sdn Bhd have 28 Outlets throughout Malaysia.

Job Summary

We are seeking for the Payroll Executive is responsible for handling end-to-end payroll processes for all outlet employees. This includes verifying attendance, calculating salaries, allowances, overtime, and deductions in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. The role also supports HR in maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring timely submission of statutory contributions such as EPF, SOCSO, and PCB.

Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll Processing

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing accurately and on time.
  • Track employee attendance, calculate overtime, and process staff claims.

2. Data Maintenance

  • Maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Update employee data in the HRIS, including attendance, overtime, and leave balances.

3. Statutory Compliance

  • Liaise with statutory bodies (e.g., KWSP, PERKESO, LHDN) to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and submit all relevant statutory documents and contributions accurately and on schedule.

4. Employee Onboarding

  • Obtain new hire information including personal details, bank and statutory account numbers.
  • Input data into the HR system accurately.
  • Monitor and follow up on monthly punch card submissions.
  • Collaborate with Area Managers to ensure data completeness and accuracy.

5. Staff Movement Coordination

  • Coordinate with Area Managers regarding staff promotions and confirmations.

6. Document Management

  • Organize, file, and maintain payroll-related documents such as punch cards, leave forms, employment records, and resignation letters.

7. HR Support Tasks

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department to support HR and payroll operations.

Requirement:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in payroll processing, if you have experience in the F&B or retail industry would be advantage.
  • Familiar with HR software and statutory portals (EPF, SOCSO, LHDN).
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to work independently and handle multiple outlets’ payroll.
