A leading chemical company in Selangor is seeking a Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Manager to oversee payroll processes, ensure compliance with laws, and manage compensation policies. The role involves developing strategies for employee retention, conducting performance reviews, and preparing reports for management. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years experience in HR, familiar with statutory requirements and government compliance. This position offers the chance to drive significant HR initiatives in a dynamic work environment.
Process & oversee monthly payroll, ensure the payroll complies with state laws and federal regulations.
Review & improve Compensation Policy & Process.
Develop compensation and rewards strategies that attract and retain talent.
Perform salary reviews based on market and sector specific benchmarking to ensure competitiveness.
Develop employee promotion and retention strategies.
Conduct exit interview & prepare exit interview report.
Manage & provide necessary training for compensation and payroll support teams.
Prepare monthly Payroll Report, Staff Turnover Analysis Report, KPI Report & for management.
(2) Performance Management & Succession Planning
Manage employees' performance management system. Ensure benefits package are competitive and internal pay structure remains fair, equitable and consistent with business needs.
Plan, propose & execute Succession Planning programme to management.
Enhance employee productivity and measurement in achieving departmental and organizational goals.
(3) Staff Engagement Activities
Conduct 1 on 1 session with new hires & prepare relevant reports.
Assist in all staff engagement activities preparation & execution, monitor the outcome, propose the improvement plans & prepare relevant report.
(4) Training, Improvement Projects & Others
Develop and drive the implementation of group human resources policies and procedures relating to remuneration, employee relations, human resources plan and budget.
Propose suitable continuous improvement projects which related to HR.
Monitor & ensure all improvement projects being executive with the timeframe.
Any ad-hoc tasks which being assigned by the superior / management from time to time.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Psychology or equivalent.
Required skill(s): MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia.
At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Familiar with EA 1955 and Covid-19 SOP compliances.
Experience in liaising and dealing with various government Agencies like Labour office and Local council would be added advantages.
Experience within compensation & benefits and rewards management.
Good knowledge of statutory requirements.
Good communication, interpersonal & analytical skills.
Junior candidates would be considered for the Assistant Manager role.
