We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Payment Operations Analyst (Internal Job Title: Cash and Trade Proc Analyst 2 - C10) based in Penang, Malaysia. The Cash and Trade Proc Analyst 2 is an intermediate level role responsible for managing technology projects throughout the entire system development lifecycle in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to research and implement sustainable technology solutions, increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Responsibilities
  • Processing of payments and receivables related activity
  • Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a SME (subject matter expert) and recommend process improvements
  • Email contact with external clients to obtain necessary payment confirmation
  • Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients and vendors.
  • Recommend improvements to the daily workflow for a medium sized Cash Operations unit
  • Recommend new work processes / technological improvements for cash management team in conjunction with identifying and resolving individual problems
  • Carry-out non-routine cash operations
  • Provide evaluative solutions for cash management issues based on analysis of information, precedent, and acquired technical experience
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

  • Knowledge on Malaysia Foreign Exchange Policy will be advantage
Education
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
