Job summary

OCBC is seeking an Investigation Specialist to protect customers and the bank from financial crimes. You will handle complex cases, gather evidence, and build strong filings that withstand scrutiny, collaborating with Risk Management, Compliance, and external agencies to uncover the truth and drive decisive outcomes.

You’ll be meticulous, analytical, and able to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant field such as law, finance, or criminology.
• At least 3 years of experience in investigations, compliance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into suspected financial crimes, including money laundering, fraud, and other illicit activities
• Gather and analyze evidence, including financial data, transaction records, and witness statements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Risk Management and Compliance, to identify and mitigate potential risks
• Work with external agencies, including law enforcement and regulatory bodies, to share intelligence and best practices
• Develop and maintain detailed case files and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness
