YouTutor Sdn Bhd in Sibu, Sarawak is seeking a Part-Time English Teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons to primary and secondary students. The role focuses on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking and comprehension, following the school syllabus and adapting to student needs.

The position offers weekday afternoons/evenings or weekends with compensation based on teaching hours. Fresh graduates with strong English or qualified teachers are welcome to apply; training and ongoing

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or other relevant qualification.
• Candidates specialising in English, Education, TESL/TESOL or related fields are preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Able to explain concepts clearly and communicate effectively with students.
• Patient, responsible, punctual and passionate about teaching.
• Comfortable working with children and/or teenagers.
• Able to conduct classes during weekday afternoons/evenings or weekends.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates and university students with strong English proficiency may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging English lessons for Primary and/or Secondary School students.

• Maintain a positive, interactive and well‑managed classroom environment.
• Communicate with the YouTutor academic/admin team regarding students’ progress, attendance and learning concerns.
• Participate in teacher meetings, training or academic discussions when required.
• Perform other teaching‑related duties reasonably assigned by the Management.
