Job summary

Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad (KLK) is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician based in Sabah to monitor power use and perform preventive maintenance across plant facilities.

The role covers troubleshooting of boilers, switchboards, fire alarm systems and other electrical installations; ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards; and requires a valid Suruhanjaya Tenaga A4-certified credential and 3–5 years of experience in palm oil mills or industrial plants.

Qualifications

• Proven multitasking ability and quick learning.
• Strong command of Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Independent and self-motivated with proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track daily power consumption; initiate preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
• Ensure substation installations meet quality and safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment: boiler, switchboard, fire alarm, etc.
